I am sure many of you have had some form of spinach artichoke dip. It is seriously so good, however we rarely make it, or allow ourselves to have it. The dip always seems to go over well with crowds though so we decided it must be served at our Gatsby party (which will be posted on the blog tomorrow). This recipe is so easy with its four steps and causes very little stress. Please go make it now.
I apologize for the blurry, not so greatly lit picture, but this dip is too good not to share.
Spinach Artichoke Dip
Serves 15. Yields 4.5 cups
2 cups parmesan cheese
1 (10 ounce) box frozen chopped spinach, thawed
1 (14 ounce) can artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
2/3 cup sour cream
1 cup cream cheese
1/3 cup mayonnaise
2 teaspoons garlic, minced
First preheat oven to 375 F. Second, mix together the parmesan cheese, spinach and artichoke hearts, then combine remaining ingredients with spinach mixture. Bake for 20-30 minutes and serve warm with baguette slices, chips, or crackers.
